By bike to Berlin: Latest ADFC map published

Whether as a leisurely family tour in several stages or as a brisk two-day ride on a racing bike: the 251 km Berlin-Dresden cycle path, mostly on quiet paths, is an insider tip by bike. Across nature, away from traffic and mostly on cycling and forest paths, the route connects Berlin and Dresden without major detours.

The new cycle map for the Berlin-Dresden cycle path is available since May 20th 2021. In addition to castles, bathing lakes and viewpoints, we have also drawn the easily recognizable numbered junctions of the Brandenburg cycle path network in the new edition for better navigation. You will also find several ADFC-certified bike-friendly bett+bike overnight accommodations (www.bettundbike.de) along the route.

You can get the map from ADFC Dresden, in well-stocked bookshops (ISBN: 978-3-00-068976-5) or via the online ordering service at www.mapfox.de.

Strengths

This project not only connects Berlin and Dresden by bike handing a map to the travellers. It supports the region it crosses by providing information on accomodation, restaurants, and touristic spots. It protects the environment as cycling is a very environment friendly way of travelling. It supports the tourists in finding their best route and stops, be they slow or quick, families or individuals.
